I put together this trio of fall thank you’s for our children’s teachers with supplies Pink Paislee and Lawn Fawn. Who would have the very different styles of those companies would work so well together?!
To create the leaves I inked up a sheet of watercolor paper with several shades of Mixed Media Inx® Chox. Butternut, Sage, Driftwood, Bluejay and Sparrow were applies with Art Daubers – just smearing and dabbing and blending the colors together until there was no white left on the paper. I also added a couple shades of pigment ink – Alpine and Coral – for just a little bit of highlight. On top of those colors, I added a design from the Swirldot Art Screen. They almost look realistic!
And here they are all together. I love the soft, faded colors. Now if only we can get some nice fall weather 🙂
