Inlaid Circle Thank You

Good morning! If you are here looking for the Clearsnap blog hop, please jump over to this post to check out all the new releases. If not, then I just have this fun card to share with you. It was created for the last Paper Crafts call but didn’t make it through. That’s okay because I still kind of love it!

The background was created by layering and die cutting several sizes of circles using the new Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets line which is so pretty. Love those Rifle Paper Co inspired flower designs that I am seeing pop up everywhere!!

Inlaid die cuts seem kind of intimidating (at least to me), but really it’s not and is just a little time consuming. Kind of like fitting together puzzle pieces. So try it! It helped me to keep adding adhesive sheeting to the back to keep everything in place.

Also, can’t seem to get enough of this Lawn Fawn alpha die! It’s gotten lots of mileage lately on this card and this card  and several more cards that haven’t yet been shared.

I’d like to also add this to the current Virginia’s View Challenge #5.

Have a great day!

Celebrate The Season

Hope you all had a nice weekend. It was a busy week for us and yesterday we did nothing but waller on the couch watching TV and eating junk food. Sometimes you just need a day like that to recharge. I guess we did put up a few holiday decorations – just couldn’t wait til after Thanksgiving this year!

I did take a few moments this morning after my husband left for work and before the kiddos woke for school to craft a little card that’s been popping around in my head for a few days. Quick and simple and inspired by all the rustic holiday displays I’ve been seeing on Etsy and around the web lately. I love a good mix of all-natural + glitter. A perfect contrast that always pleases my eye.

Hope you have a fantastic week!
