Faux Letterpress

Hello there friends! It’s been a busy month, as October always is and we are prepping for Halloween and I am getting ready for a few upcoming craft shows. Just dropping in today to share a technique post I created for the Clearsnap blog earlier this month. I love the look of letterpress and this easy trick using your metal dies and juicy pigment ink lets you create it quickly and simply at home. Plus you can add as many colors as you like – no extra charge!

After finishing my project and doing a Google search, I found that lots of others had already found a way to create faux letterpress with their embossing folders. Isn’t that always the way with your best ideas?! But I do think this variation offers lots of flexibility for positioning dies, and as I said earlier – adding and blending lots of colors.

Anyway I do hope you’ll give it a try! Visit this post on the Clearsnap blog for more information or follow this link to go to the video tutorial.

Happy autumn impressions,
Sabrina
